Why study online?

Do you want to get a head start for university while taking a subject that you’re passionate about? Extend your learning beyond the classroom by studying online with Pamoja.

Pamoja Taught courses provide practical experience of collaborative tools and digital technologies, promoting self-direction and independence in learning; skills that are highly desired by universities around the world.

How does it work?

You join a classroom of up to 35 students from all around the world, and are given access to the course content through an online learning platform. The content is broken down into weekly lessons: each week, objectives will be introduced to help you stay on track.

The course is mostly taught asynchronously using the materials and resources already available on the learning platform. You also have the opportunity to join a live lesson with your teacher every week, where you can interact with classmates and have your questions answered straight away.

IB DP courses available

We currently offer 17 subjects, available to all students who study the Diploma or Career-related Programme at an IB World School.

My Pamoja Scholarship helped me get into university

My name is Raghav, and I’m coming to the end of a two-year scholarship with Pamoja. Before I was offered the chance to apply, I hadn’t ever heard of anyone getting an IB scholarship and the benefits have been numerous. I recently completed my university applications and the experience of learning online gave me a huge advantage; both in terms of skill set and the format itself. It was the one thing that I wrote about for every application because it made me stand out. It definitely helped me to get in to most of the universities I applied for and it’s also been a fantastic experience all round.

What our alumni say

Based on research carried out by the University of London’s Institute of Education.

said that they had gained experience in a range of online learning tools that they now use at university.

said that studying online prior to university had increased their independence as learners.
