Learning opportunities for your child
Pamoja Taught courses give students the opportunity to study Diploma or Career-related Programme subjects that their school does not offer, by taking them online. Enable your child to develop lifelong learning skills and get a head start for university, work and life.
Why should your child study online?
Our wide range of online International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) courses prepare students for life after school. The courses are stimulating and relevant, while the virtual environment provides a real student community, making contact possible between classmates and teachers all over the world.
Online DP courses equip students with essential skills and knowledge desired by universities around the world.
How does it work?
Students join a classroom of up to 35 learners from all around the world, and are given access to the course content through an online learning platform. The content is broken down into weekly lessons: each week, objectives will be introduced to help your child stay on track.
The course is mostly taught asynchronously using the materials and resources already available on the learning platform. Each student also has the opportunity to join a live lesson with their teacher every week, where they can interact with classmates and have their questions answered straight away.
My Pamoja Scholarship helped me get into university
My name is Raghav, and I’m coming to the end of a two-year scholarship with Pamoja. Before I was offered the chance to apply, I hadn’t ever heard of anyone getting an IB scholarship and the benefits have been numerous. I recently completed my university applications and the experience of learning online gave me a huge advantage; both in terms of skill set and the format itself. It was the one thing that I wrote about for every application because it made me stand out. It definitely helped me to get in to most of the universities I applied for and it’s also been a fantastic experience all round.
