Group 5: Mathematics

Online IB courses with Pamoja

Overview

In Group 5: Mathematics students are challenged to explore both the practical and abstract nature of mathematics, and its role in understanding the world.

Through the IB Diploma Programme, students can choose between two distinct courses: Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches (AA) and Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation (AI), each available at Standard Level (SL) and Higher Level (HL).

Both courses develop logical, critical and creative thinking, while encouraging students to apply mathematical concepts to real-world problems and explore their connections to broader theoretical ideas. Learners build skills in abstraction, generalisation and problem-solving, preparing them for further study in mathematics, sciences, engineering, economics, business and beyond.

All Pamoja mathematics courses are studied within a student’s current school through our flexible yet structured online learning model, guided by experienced IB teachers and supported by dedicated pastoral care.

Why choose Pamoja?

We help IB schools to broaden their curricula, support more students, and maintain high academic standards – without increasing pressure on operations or staff.
