Here you’ll find information on the online courses we offer for Group 1: Studies in Language and Literature. By taking this subject, students engage with a wide range of texts in English - from classic and contemporary literature to non-literary forms such as advertisements, political cartoons, and even social media posts.
School-Supported Self-Taught (SSST) Language A: Literature is an IB Diploma pathway that enables students to study literature in their mother tongue while meeting Group 1 requirements. Pamoja’s newly developed framework makes this pathway more effective than ever, combining IB-trained fluent teachers, proven online pedagogy, and dedicated school support to create a richer, more robust learning journey.
The subjects in this group open up opportunities to study English and languages courses at university, and pursue a variety of careers in related fields. Students will study these courses within their current school through our flexible yet structured online learning approach, supported by our specialist teachers and dedicated pastoral care.
