Overview
Protecting the wellbeing of every learner
At Pamoja, the safety and wellbeing of all our students is our highest priority. We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and we expect all staff and partners to share this commitment.
We recognise our duty of care to all learners, and are dedicated to creating a safe and supportive learning environment where every child feels valued, respected, and protected.

Our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)
Our Designated Safeguarding Lead is responsible for overseeing all safeguarding matters and ensuring that appropriate action is taken in response to any concerns.

Staff training
All our teachers and staff undertake regular, compulsory safeguarding training. This ensures that they are well-equipped to recognise any potential safeguarding concerns, and know how to respond appropriately. Safeguarding is embedded throughout our organisation, and all staff are expected to uphold the highest standards of professional conduct.

Working in partnership
We work closely with our partner schools to ensure that any safeguarding concerns are dealt with swiftly, sensitively, and in line with local procedures. Our communication is always two-way, and we are guided by our partner schools as appropriate to ensure that we provide the best possible support for learners and their families.

If you have any questions or concerns relating to safeguarding, please do not hesitate to reach out to our safeguarding team via courses@pamojaeducation.com.
