Flexible IB Online Courses for Dutch Students

Overview

IB online courses in the Netherlands

IB schools in the Netherlands, especially in Rotterdam, Amsterdam, and The Hague, are seeing a rise in demand for language subjects, particularly Spanish. Whether they’re supporting students aiming for university in Spain or South America, or simply broadening subject choice, many schools are looking for scalable ways to meet demand without compromising quality.

We’re proud to be the only online course provider authorised by the IB to deliver official Diploma Programme subjects. We partner with schools across the Netherlands to offer flexible access to popular subjects like Spanish ab initio SL, Spanish B, and School-Supported Self-Taught (SSST) Language A: Literature in over 20 languages. With structured timetables, teacher-led delivery, and built-in progress tracking, we help schools maintain IB compliance whilst supporting every student’s individual pathway.

Frequently Asked Quetions

Are Pamoja courses recognised by global universities?

Yes. All our online courses are part of the official IB Diploma Programme and are recognised by universities worldwide – including top institutions in the US, Canada, and beyond.

Is Pamoja selective?

No, we are not a selective school. We pride ourselves on being academically inclusive, and we enrol students regardless of their academic starting point. With teacher-led support and a structured online learning model, we help every student reach their potential and achieve their potential.

Can we start with just one or two students?

Yes. Many schools begin their partnership with us by registering a small cohort – for example, offering a single low-demand subject for a select few students, then expanding as interest and capability grow.

What data can we share with families?

Parents and carers receive predicted grades, overall results averages, and information about their child’s progress. More than 34% of Pamoja students earn a 6 or 7 in their final exams, a benchmark many IB schools value.

Why is Spanish so popular with Dutch students?

Many students are preparing to study at university in Spain or South America, whilst others want to maintain fluency in Spanish alongside their first language. We offer Spanish ab initio SL and Spanish B (SL and HL) as official IB online courses to help schools meet this demand.

What support do schools receive for SSST?

We provide structured yet flexible online course delivery, teacher guidance, and support from Site-Based Coordinators to help students excel in Language A: Literature across a wide range of mother-tongue languages.

How do Dutch schools manage internal deadlines with Pamoja?

We provide structured timetables, regular reporting, and highly accurate predicted grades, ensuring our online courses integrate seamlessly with your existing school calendar and enabling students to balance their online studies with their in-person subjects.
