Overview
IB online courses in France
In France, most IB schools are located in or near Paris and the South. While demand for IB education is growing, many schools find it difficult to offer a full range of Diploma Programme subjects, especially in Group 2 (languages), Group 3 (individuals and societies), and School-Supported Self-Taught (SSST) options.
We’re proud to be the only online course provider authorised by the IB to deliver official Diploma Programme subjects. We partner with schools across France to expand subject offerings, minimise recruitment pressures, and provide a flexible, structured learning experience. For students, our courses offer a dependable way to study the IB subjects they’re passionate about, led by experienced IB teachers – from anywhere in the country.

Who we support
Frequently Asked Questions
How does Pamoja support IB schools?
We provide structured yet flexible online courses, close collaboration with schools’ Site-Based Coordinators, highly accurate predicted grades, regular progress tracking, and mock exam guidance so schools can empower their students to excel with confidence.
Are Pamoja courses recognised by global universities?
Yes. All our online courses are part of the official IB Diploma Programme and are recognised by universities worldwide – including top institutions in the US, Canada, and beyond.
Is Pamoja selective?
No, we are not a selective school. We pride ourselves on being academically inclusive, and we enrol students regardless of their academic starting point. With teacher-led support and a structured online learning model, we help every student reach their potential and achieve their potential.
Can we start with just one or two students?
Yes. Many schools begin their partnership with us by registering a small cohort – for example, offering a single low-demand subject for a select few students, then expanding as interest and capability grow.
What data can we share with families?
Parents and carers receive predicted grades, overall results averages, and information about their child’s progress. More than 34% of Pamoja students earn a 6 or 7 in their final exams, a benchmark many IB schools value.
What languages does Pamoja offer in Group 2?
We offer Spanish B (SL and HL), French B (SL and HL), Chinese B (SL and HL), and ab initio Spanish, Mandarin and French, with the potential for more languages courses to be added to meet demand.
Can we offer SSST with Pamoja?
Yes. We support School-Supported Self-Taught Language A: Literature in over 18 languages, combining structured online learning with dedicated guidance for students and school coordinators.
Do French IB schools typically partner with Pamoja to serve all their students, or a small cohort?
Most IB schools in France use Pamoja to fill subject gaps, especially when they can’t offer a popular course in-house or there’s low demand for certain niche subjects. We provide a flexible solution that complements your existing IB programme whilst expanding opportunities for your students.
